Social Event Goals Not Appearing

For any social event I try, the name of the event appears, and all the guests show up, however none of the goals or the progress bar appear. The DLC I have: Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, High Schoo...

    @Adeadperson64 

    When you create or initiate an event, are you making sure to select the "goaled event" box?

Turns out I wasn't 😂

Has this always been a thing, I swear I didn't do it before!
