The Sims 4 - Critic career wont let me choose branch Art/Food Critic

The same thing is happening with me, I'm in the social media career path. When the screen prompted me to choose a branch, it essentially froze. I kept clicking on both options but I had no option to progress futher, or exit the screen. I was still able to save my game while stuck on this screen, I restarted my PS4 and now it works. Very strange little bug.
