The Sims 4 - Critic career wont let me choose branch Art/Food Critic

I have joined the Critic career and when getting to the select branch option of either food or art critic I cant select either to join. It allows me to view each of the jobs but the tick does not appe...

Yep I’m having this issue as well I’m doing the politics career and can’t select either charity organiser or politician. All I can do is hear a phone ring or pause the game. It’s so annoying because now I can’t do anything with this character until it’s fixed.

If you save the game whilst the issue occurs and restart and load the game it allows you to select an option.
Annoying but allows you to progress
