So, everyone is growing old and dying in my game and I'm left with a lot of empty houses and apartments with no sign of repopulaiton. I have the fill empty homes option switched on, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. At this rate my sim family is going to be all alone pretty soon.
Is this a bug for me or is this the same for everyone? I know I can make sims and put them in the starter houses, but what's the point of the fill empty homes if it doesn't work?
So San Myshuno is now empty. There's not a single person in the city. Brindleton Bay has one house occupied everywhere else is empty. The towns are just not repopulating.
Willow Creek repopulated once earlier on, but nothing anywhere else.
This surely can't be as intended. I have double checked that I have fill empty houses switched on and I do.
I'm going to have to start making sims to populate the towns, but feel that if I have the option for the game to fill empty houses then it should.
Okay, I'm beginning to think this is bugged in my game, not sure if anyone else has the same issue.
There has been no town repopulation in any area in weeks. However, if I go to bars etc in an area, they do get new people as old ones die. I think they should probably be repopulating the houses but for some reason aren't.
Anyway, really annoying.
