I'm unsure if the console version has the whole gender stuff but if you do, check if they can get pregnant.
I’ve checked earlier when I was on my Xbox and she isn’t pregnant 🤰 but I’ve tried with other sims which have had kids and they cannot anymore and I’m really peeved
