Windenburg World Not Fully Loading/Loading Incorrectly

Nope. The game just shuts off and I end up staring at the home screen. Sometimes it says "The Sims 4 took too long to load", but only on Startup, and it doesn't happen often on Startup.

Update - Loading the lot via Build mMode itself (without going to Live Mode first) during the World/Lot Selection screen causes Windenburg and the lot to load correctly. I haven't tried loading Live Mode after this, and this is my first try actually doing it, so I don't know how often it'll crash while loading the lot via Build Mode, or if it'll crash at all. I'll update when I have answers 🙂

It worked the first time I tried it. All the other times, it crashed before Live Mode fully loaded in from the World Map.

I saw some people with similar problems than mine, and I tried all of the solutions listed. Some of the solutions temporarily fixed my crashing problem, but recently it's gotten even worse. Now the solutions no longer help.

My problem has gone from just simply crashing to audio stuttering/repeating before crashing during loading screens. 

This problem takes place specifically when loading my Windenburg lot into build mode from the World Map/Manage Worlds, then going back to "Manage Worlds." It'd crash on it's way back to "Manage Worlds."

I noticed all of these issues would take place only when it came to Windenburg. Or, I think they do.

Windenburg is the Destination I use the most, and I've only seen the problem with this Destination. I know this because I've been doing various Scenarios to pass the in-game time while waiting for my main family's child's birthday, and I've loaded many other lots in other Worlds/Destinations just fine. 

I've loaded Lots in the Snowy Escape World, various City Living lots in all Neighborhoods/Areas, various lots from the Eco Living pack in different Neighborhoods/Areas, various lots from the Island Living pack, and various lots from the StrangerVille pack. 

I'm starting to believe that my problem might be just pertaining to Windenburg. Maybe my console can't handle it's greatness 😂. I've had a few issues with loading different lots in that World, like "Dance Parties" not appearing or loading in after being invited to certain places like "The Bluffs" and having a lonely Sim with no party 😢. I've never had a problem like this before in this World, however. 

It might also be a problem with the lot or house specifically, especially because I have a lot in the household inventory. Especially fruits/crops. I don't know how these accumulate so much in my household inventory, but there's at least 700 crops overall. I've tried to delete them, but each delete is individual, and deleting each and every one of my 300+ grapes, plus the freezing and lag that comes with it, one at a time.. it's not a very enjoyable experience. With an exception of the fruit apocalypse, there's not a lot else in the inventory (anymore) since I either placed them or deleted them. Oh how I wish there was an option to delete multiple things in the inventory at once in build mode. Too many grapes!

Way more grapes than I thought. I decided to stop being lazy and start deleting all of the crops. Turns out I had over 4000 grapes and it just wasn't showing me all of the digits because it's probably not very natural to have that much, so I thought it was only around 400. Deleting all 4000 of them now. Maybe that's why my game keeps crashing 😂. Oh boy..

If this is only happening for you in Windenburg, it may very well be related to the fruit apocalypse happening in your inventory 😅 At least we know your Sim will never go hungry! 

Let me know if you're seeing some improvement on this once you've managed to clear out your inventory a bit- I know this can be super time-consuming since they need to be deleted one at a time!

I finally cleared the entire inventory. Unfortunately it still crashes, but it crashes a LOT less now. That's one issue out of the way 😅 I'm still not sure how all of that fruit got there, but it's gone now. 

I still can only play the household when I load their lot through Build Mode from the World Map first, which is annoying, but at least I can actually play them now. 

I've also been playing offline since and during the battle of the grapes 😂, and I'm a little scared to go online just in case there might be an issue correlated with that too, but I'll try it and get back when I find out.

I'm glad we've at least got some improvement since the grapes of wrath have now been cleared out! Is the crashing only happening with one family/save in particular?
