@KoolKatYOLO have you identified what action may be triggering the error code or does it appear to be random?
I switched from Xbox one to Xbox Series S after my console got a series of error codes. I narrowed it down to a couple of things. Firstly I couldn't use the gallery or the game's premade rooms without triggering error codes.
Secondly I couldn't take photographs or store them in my personal inventory or display them on walls. I'd just added the Moschino pack and the photography career is impossible to play because of error codes.
I ended up speaking to Microsoft about it, then because I had excessive crashing too I upgraded. The crashing continued but I've avoided gallery downloads, pre made rooms and using the camera and so far no codes.
My old Xbox works fine for other games, Microsoft told me it's a problem specific to the Sims.
It means I miss out on part of the game but I'm still not prepared to risk any of these actions, although I would like to use them again.
I'm starting to think back and it all started with codes after taking pictures I was doing the 100 baby challenge and I took pictures of all the fathers and started on there kids when they became young adults and it froze up and when I logged back in they was all black. But was able to play still and save for about a week then code 0 popped up. Hmmm maybe no picture taking. I don't use pre-made rooms I build my own rooms . But only thing I can see is yes the pictures dis do that first. Thank you I know now if I start my 100 baby challenge there won't be pictures yes its sad. But I'll have to keep in mind pics or to keep playing. Thank you
Once I identified what it was causing it with the help of Microsoft and experienced players on here I reset my Console and uninstalled and reinstalled my packs.
There's a decision to be made about keeping saves and Microsoft told me I could reset my Console and "Keep my apps and games". But the error code had wiped my saves anyway. So I personally chose to clear everything because there was nothing left of any use on that occasion. I couldn't make new saves at all.
I haven't taken a photo since and it's such a shame because I loved that feature. I also haven't downloaded from the gallery or used saved rooms. I'd like to be able to do that again but I'm too anxious about more error codes even though I'm on a new Xbox Series S. The friend who got my old Xbox One S has had absolutely no problems with it.
But the positive thing I've found is that identifying the trigger(s) for the error code is essential to stop it from happening and once you've done that it hopefully should be okay as long as you don't repeat that action.
I agree . Another step I tried was Uninstalling my profile and then te adding it back it's crazy on all steps I had done
