What is the CC item that throws that error? Can you post a screenshot of the error? Have you tried putting that CC item directly in the Mods folder and not nested deeper?

It doesn’t necessarily show an error, the items just don’t appear in the game. I did try putting them just in the mods folder, but the same issue arrived ☹️. I’m wondering if it’s a CC issue and not an issue with the hard drive

    It sounds like it is a CC issue. I meant a screenshot when it says "unsupported extension type". Can you give me a link to a piece of CC you're having issues with?
