@Bluebellflora Thank you so much . I think I’m just going to leave the packs ok my laptop it’s too much hassle 😩 I’m not very tech savvy

    It's really easy:

    Game installation (base game + Packs) - change installation location to external hard drive in Origin > Installs & Saves and either redownload base game + packs to that location or move from the existing location to the external

    Sims 4 folder containing saves etc. - use symlink to store on external drive
