I ended up starting over before you replied I found your yt vid. Now I can’t get the game to pass the loading screen before it says sims 4 not responding under forced quit

Trash the localthumbcache.package file and rename your Mods folder to something else, like Mods2 or similar. Then try to load the game.

I renamed the folder and it still stop loading & tell me not responding once the plumbob stop spinning it disappears

It doesn’t look like the symlink has been created, there is no arrow in the corner of the Electronic Arts folder but there is on another folder called ?….
Navigate to the local Sims 4 folder, open it, click on the arrow next to the saves folder and please post a screenshot.- 2 years ago
