Hi,
I updated my mac to Sonoma a while ago and my sims game was working fine. Suddenly, I tried to play this week and I kept getting the "Sims is already running" error code. I tried to look through this thread for solutions, but I feel so lost.
I play sims on an external hard drive.
When I go to Files and Folders there is no option to give it access to documents..
I have tried uninstalling origin.
I tried changing the game library location on origin, it didn't work..
I removed all of the mods out of my folder to see if any were corrupt and it still happened
I will attach some photos of my situation.

I am not sure? How would I go about checking that?
when I first installed it to my external drive I followed a YouTube video about how to add your sims to an external drive.
recall inputting some sentences into Terminal, is that what you mean? sorry 😭
