@Bluebellflora
Hi! So, my problem is "The Sims 4 is already running", but i've done everything you advised and nothing changed... I have iCloud drive disabled to store my document in the Cloud and Optimise Storage disabled, in the EA app i can see the game is located in my external drive, my drive dosen't have a "1" after it's name... everything worked fine with the external drive until now.

Check in System Settings that the game has full access to the document folder and external volumes.
Does the symlink in your Documents folder look like a white page or a normal folder with the little arrow in the corner? If a white page trash it and redo the symlink.
