ADVENTURE AWAITS causing unswimmable oceans (inc Sulani)

HEEELP! After installing the Adventure Awaits expansion pack, I can no longer swim in open water. I immediately noticed it when my sims cannot use water related equipments (kayaks, pool ladder, diving board) during their getaway in open waters The game is incorrectly identifying the ocean as solid ground. When I click on deep water or even on fish in the ocean, I do not get a "Swim" option. Instead, the menu shows "Go Here" or land-based interactions like "Build a Sandcastle."

Steps Taken (Nothing has worked):

1. Removed all Mods and cleared localthumbcache.package.
2. Performed a "Folder Refresh" (renaming the Sims 4 folder to generate a clean one).
3. Repaired the game multiple times via the EA App.
4. Performed a "Nuclear Reinstall": Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the base game only and Sulani.

Tested in a brand-new save file with a new Sim. Even with a completely fresh installation and no mods, the ocean remains unswimmable and behaves like land.
