@Azumetrics EDIT: So I tried "repairing" it, and redownloaded all of the expansions again.
I removed(backuped somewhere far away) the original The Sims 4 folder, so that it created a completely new directory in Documents/EA. Worked one time, and then it had the same problem, complaining about "Game file was created for a newer version."
( COmplete error code: Unable to start:
The contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via Origin to play.

Hello @Azumetrics
When attempting to start the game, is your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder completely empty (except for the Resource.cfg file), or are there other files in there?

Absolutely completely free!
It worked 1 time yesterday, but now after the new patch, the same things happens. Which means I have to re-download everything again I guess?
