All Old Households are missing. Please help!

Hi,

All of my old households/saves are completely gone. I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but I noticed it the other day after downloading and playing a family with Lovestruck for a bit. I had basically all of Willow Creek filled with custom families I'd played with for hours and now it's all reset to the original families/lots. The only saves the game acknowledges are the family I was working on and one random family I played in another neighborhood.

I've tried all of the troubleshooting I can find on here. My saves are definitely in the right place. I turned off the iCloud/one drive thing. I've got 90+ gigs free on my Mac so I don't think that was the issue anyway. I was playing with a lot of mods but I've removed the entire folder and it didn't fix anything. I tried taking the full sims 4 folder out of documents and then playing the game and placing one of my older saves in the new saves folder and it only shows the one random newish family I was working on, nothing old. This save file was 12.7 megabytes but only showed one family.... So something's clearly up with how my game is reading the save file. I tried repairing the game too but that didn't fix it.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks!!

Did you remove the .Ver from the end of a save file? The saves that end in .Ver are backups of the save with the same Slot number.

Or maybe you've been moving save files around and replaced some when Finder has prompted you because it finds two files with the same file name?
