Available on Windows

I am playing the Sims 4 on my Mac using the EA app. Several Sims 4 packs that I own are showing as "Available on Windows" in the EA app, even though I previously owned and used these packs and they are listed in my EA account with checkmarks.

These packs appear in my account/library, but the EA app does not recognize them as available for Mac. This is preventing me from accessing content that I previously owned and used in my game.

I have already tried restarting the EA app, restarting my Mac, logging out and back in to my EA account, refreshing the EA app, and checking my owned content multiple times. The packs still show as "Available on Windows."

I've also attempted to purchase additional Sims 4 packs through the EA app on my Mac, but the purchases repeatedly fail with a message telling me to use a different payment method. This makes me concerned that there may be an issue with my EA account's entitlements/platform recognition rather than an issue with my Mac.

Please investigate my EA account and Sims 4 entitlements to determine why my previously owned packs are being identified as Windows only when I am playing on my Mac.

I do know that steam is not available for Mac, as I used steam on my windows computer. Would unlinking my steam and EA allow me to repurchase the DLCs? I’ve tried to repurchase them several times.

  • Hi MouseMadHouse

I'm moving this to the Mac forum.

Looks like you bought them on Steam. Steam is not available for Mac.

For the payment issue it's best to use the EA app forum instead.
