Broken Update
Hello, I was wondering what to do about a broken update. It updated all the way until 99% but it will not finish the update. it froze and hasn't been fixed since. I have tried everything. I have tried updating my macbook, rebooting it, and deleting and redownloading the EA app. I tried clearing my cache. Nothing is making it fixed. What can I do? Please help...
Sims stuck on preparing download and calculating time.
I have been trying to update my sims game for a couple of days now. Everytime I press update game, it gets stuck on the preparing update and the calculating time. I've tried clearing the cache and deleting the app and restarting my computer and nothing is working. I am on a Mac. Could someone help me?
The sims 4 not updating at all
So, I've been trying to update my game ever since the new update came out, but it is stuck on preparing, calculating time, ever since then. I tried downloading the update the same day it came out as I always do and this has never happened before. I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the ea app, I'm at the point where I'm considering uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but will probably take hours to do so I don't really want do do it, also some thing very weird when it's in this state of eternal preparing the ea app just closes out of no where, like nothing happened, I don't get a pop up that the app crashed or anything it is just not open anymore. By the way my game is on a external hard drive, but there's nothing I can do about it cause is the only way I can play, because my computer dose not have enough space to download the game and I still be able to use it for anything els. I don't know what to do any more.
Sims 4 right click not working with newest Mac Update
I've recently updated my MacBook Pro to macOS Sequoia 15.0 and my right click on the Sims is no longer working. I normally have the camera in Sims 3 camera mode so this is really annoying for me. I know there are other ways to play the game, but I've been playing with he Sims 3 camera since the Sims 3! I've tried restarting my computer, changing my secondary click on my computer (still doesn't work if it on the left side of trackpad), removed all MODs & CC, restarted the EA App, repaired the Sims 4, uninstalled the Sims 4 and started a brand new game. I don't know if there is anything else I can do, please if you have any suggestions or if this happened to you and you fixed it please let me know! Thank you in advanced :)
Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.
I have been getting the error message "Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.If you have Mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin" ever since the most recent update. I have no mods or CC downloaded. I have gone through the support help 4 times, which involved "repairing," uninstalling the EA app from my mac, uninstalling the sims 4 from my mac, reinstalling them, etc. My game still will not even load. The advisor recommended posting on the forum for help.
I can't load a game bc the menu is going funny
So I load into the menu and all icons are squished up and I can't press anything maybe I have a bad mod or something I just wanna fix it so I can play. oh I have just paused to take a screenshot but now it has reset I have lost all the saved games I need help I'm going to try to reopen the game and stuff.Game is lagging after update
I haven't played sims in a while, since before the very first lovestruck update. anyway, I just updated two days ago, and my game won't work. The game opens and runs okay, it was taking longer to load than usual. I was able to use CAS. But when it came to playing, none of my sims would listen to what I told them. They would just randomly start dancing. One sim was in the front yard but the game said she was playing video games. I completely deleted all of my mods and cc (after backing up) and was still having the same problems. It's super frustrating.Snowy Escape install issue
The EA app is saying Snowy Escape is installed for my game, but when I open the game it's not installed. The pack isn't showing up in the Sims Packs on my computer either. How do I get the EA app to realize that Snowy Escape isn't installed? I've tried completely uninstalling the Sims 4 and the EA app, but the EA app is still saying Snowy Escape is installed when the base game isn't even installed. I've tried removing all CC and mods, but haven't had any luck
