What in the hell did they do?

Ever since the latest update it has been nothing but extremely messed up.  I have Sims just plain gone, nowhere to be found.  Build mode doesn't recognize walls or just about anything else.  Packs I bought are gone.  Try to save and it's a never ending spinning wheel.  Try to go to a public place and it's just gone and there's NPC's just wandering around.  Nothing there but land and glitchy patches.  I have tried everything and nothing works.  Dumped the cache, nope.  Repair, nope.  I don't even use mods but I pulled the Mods folder, nope. Every possible fix I have found in searching -NOTHING works.  The game is just F'd.  If anything it just keeps getting worse.  HOW can they possibly screw it up this bad?  I almost don't want to know in case they try harder and it just implodes.  I feel like everything (time, money, everything) I've spent on this game is completely wasted.  And it looks like I'm not the only one looking through the boards.  But from EA?  SILENCE.  Definitely going to find a new game.  This is supposed to be relaxing while I can't be physically active right now and all it's done is **bleep** me off.
