Broken Eco Lifestyle Apartments

Hi, I think I've broken the Stonestreet apartments in Evergreen Harbour!! I renovated one of them, then recently enabled the modernising neighbourhood action plan (which of course changes the doors and windows for the EH apartments), but some of the walls I placed weren't compatible with the slightly adjusted door placements. After opening the apartment to edit it in build mode, I realised the front door and some of the windows are now missing! And I have no idea how to get them back, please help!

Additionally, I tried bulldozing the lot and exiting the game, but the door and windows are still missing. I tried to recreate the apartment in the one I hadn't yet renovated next door, and realised that in both apartments I can no longer place any item down at all.

If it helps, I am on Mac and completely up to date. Thank you for any help!!

Can you try the new Sims 4 folder as suggested in my previous post? Sounds like Mods are the cause. You need to try a brand new Sims 4 folder (clean game), not just a new save file.

I'm not sure, it's glitching really bad. I can select an item and colour swatch etc, but when I try and pull it into the game and out of the menu it just won't,, materialise? Idk the right word for it. But it did this on every save file I had, so I tried repairing the game which didn't work. Then I deleted all my save files (not a big deal don't worry lol) and uninstalled then reinstalled the game, made a new save file, and it's still not letting me place items.

Not sure if it's related, but if I try and place eg. a kitchen counter without autoplace, the selection bit for configuration is all glitchy and showing sections from other parts of the build menu. Similarly, when looking at windows and doors, the bit for filtering by compatibility with wall heights is all messed up, and both these things have been happening since I broke that Stonecrest apartment in the now deleted save file.

Any idea what's going on and how I can fix it? Getting a bit worried I've fully just broken my Sims game lol.

Okay sorry for spamming replies lol but I've found I can still duplicate objects with the eyedropper tool of that's relevant? Just can't pull anything out from the build menu.

You were right, thank you!! I didn't even consider that they were separate issues, but both are sorted now. Really appreciate your help!!
