Build Mode is broken (Mac)

After the latest update, my build mode is broken. I have zero installed custom content or mods. It randomly decides it wants to go into camera mode. Items cannot be dragged into the grid. Roofs disappear. It will work for a few minutes and then randomly decide to not work at all. Debating uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues after the update.
