Can anyone suggest an IMac for sims 4?
I’m looking to purchase a slightly older IMac if you see anything on Amazon please let me know. I just want to be able to play Sims 4!

It MUST have:
8GB RAM minimum
i5 quad-core processor, i7 or i9 would be better
Nothing older than a 2012 model but later would definitely be better
Dedicated NVIDIA/AMD GPU, not integrated Intel
SSD/Flash internal drive. An older, mechanical drive will have a higher likelihood of failing. Try not to go for one that has a Fusion drive.

I have an i7 iMac with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1 GB video card, and it runs fine except it has some substantial performance issues with the green neighborhood lighting effects, so if you have Eco Living, you'll probably want to find one with a better video card than that.

Which version of macOS are you running? If it's an older one you may be able to download the beta NVIDIA driver which will dramatically improve the performance for you - https://bluebellflora.com/manually-update-nvidia-geforce-graphics-drivers-in-os-x/- @Bluebellflora It's on 10.15.7. I'm getting a new one soon anyway so I'm not too concerned about it for myself.
