Lost saved game and pack

I recently bought the cottage living pack and actually played with it, I stopped for a month and when I went back in to play with it I had all my packs except the cottage living one. I then watched a few videos on YouTube to try and get it back into my game and now I have lost my saved games. Please help!!! I know it has something to do with the files but im so lost and confused
