Can't place items...

Hi, I played fine this morning, now I can't play. I can't move or place objects, while testing it with my Sims, it then would not come out of Pause. My game won't save and won't load out of my household, so I have to force the laptop to close. I thought it was due to raising floors but I don't see why that would be an issue. 

I tried the repair through the EA app and nothing. 

I haven't got any Mods, I just used the move objects.

Please help?!
