Don't full screen when play sims 4

I tried the updated version of Sims 4 and it only opened ¾ of the way up. Couldn't my pointer into the back of the house. Don't like new formmat with "More Choices" as the first thing you see. What happened to original Funny Romantic Mean Mischief and Friendly? Hard to see the green diamond over their heads. I now have OS Catalina
