Error I can't save lots to my library
Hi everyone - hopefully someone can help me!
The problem:
I am trying to save a house I've been working on so I can use it in a different save file, but I keep getting an error message that says I can't save it to my library or upload to the gallery.
I can still save households and upload them to the gallery. I have 2 save files and the error is happening with every build in both of them.
What I've tried so far:
- I've tried downloading lots room by room but it still comes up with the error
- I've tried deleting things from my library to free space, as well as deleting some files from my Mac in case it was a storage issue (but I have a lot of storage so I don't think it is)
- I've also tried checking the cc box in my gallery/library and tried to save the lot room by room but neither worked
- I repaired the game in origin and have restarted my Mac as well as the game a few times
Other information that might help:
I'm using a Mac and I've never had any mods or cc installed, I do use custom paintings from the gallery from time to time.
If anyone could help me or knows how to contact the sims/EA for support I'd really appreciate it!

Please have a little patience and not create multiple posts within hours of each other on the same issue. We are players helping players at AHQ.
Let's start with a clean Sims 4 folder - Move to the desktop, or rename, the Sims 4 folder in the Documents > Electronic Arts folder. Then launch the game to the main menu and quit. This will force the game to recreate the Sims 4 folder with none of your previous content in it. Next, copy the save that has this build you refer to from your original Sims 4 > saves folder to the newly created Sims 4 > saves folder. Load up the game, load the save. go to the lot and see if you can upload it to the Library.
