Everything is Gone…?

livloveall There are two issues here. One is that, apparently at least, the folder that contains your saves is called "The Sims" as opposed to "The Sims 4" as it should be. You probably have an existing "The Sims 4" folder that the game created. If this folder contains nothing you want to keep, delete it; otherwise, rename it. Either way, rename the "The Sims" folder to "The Sims 4" so the game can read it again.
The other issue is that your saves have been renumbered. That's why the game can't read them. The saves need to be named Slot_ followed by an eight-digit hexidecimal (0 to 9, a to f) number followed by .save , with nothing else in the name. The ones that end in .verx are backups, and you can delete that part too in order to make the save usable.
Point is, take one save at a time and rename it so it follows the proper format. The save highlighted in your screenshot is currently this:
Slot_00000002.save 3.ver3
Rename it to this:
Slot_00000003.save
and see whether it loads. If you get a message that there's already a save with that name, choose a higher number; it doesn't really matter as long as the first few digits are zero.
Please also delete the scratch folders, which are extraneous. They should only exist when the game is running, but iCloud likely uploaded and preserved them.
