Fan gets very loud since recent patch

Hi, has anyone else been having an issue with the fan getting oddly loud since the recent patch? Before this patch my fan would get a bit loud but it was normal. Now since this patch. The fan gets ve...

Thank you for that! I didn't put into consideration it may have been due to the patch being so big and adding so much. I have certain settings set to high, I definitely will play around with the settings and see which one works best for my Mac. 😃

Yes, you are right. I will do that when I get a chance it may be time for a good fan cleaning as well. I haven't done it since 2021, so it may be time to get cleaned out. 

One more thing, my Mac beeps once the game actually starts and I see my Sims. That's the only time it does this is that normal?

It beeps? It's not normal no. Is it definitely not anything to do with the game?

    I figured out what the beep was, it was just the radio starting up when I first boot up the game. I also got my fan to quiet down and the game works fine. I played around with a couple of settings and I can play without worrying about my computer taking off into orbit. Thank you so much!!! :-)
