Ever since the Batuu update, my Sims 4 game has been buggy -- freezing and crashing frequently.  I have a brand new Mac laptop and absolutely no mods. It's also a clean install from this week.

Specs:

MacBook Pro Catalina 10.15.6
2.3 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9
32 GB 2667 Mhz DDR4
Graphics Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB
Intel UHD Grapics 630 1536 MB

Replying w/ more info.  Not only does Sims crash within 30 minutes at each start (sometimes sooner), but also when it does it takes down my entire system and I have to reboot.   The problem has been getting progressively worse.  First it was occasional freezes or slow-downs that didn't actually freeze, but increasingly it goes out entirely.  Sometimes when it does so it creates graphic errors in the process, where pieces of the screen turn to random other colors. I tried to get a screen shot, but strangely though the screen shot was created, the file was just completely white (as if the computer thought that there was no data on the screen).... I'm attaching that anyway.

My basic specs are as follows:
MacBook Pro 2020
OS:  Catalina 10.15.6
2.3
Processor:  GHz 8-core Intel Core i9

Memory:     32 GB 2667 Mhz DDR4

Graphics: Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB.  AND   Intel UHD Grapics 630 1536 MB

Additionally, I went ahead and deleted all saves and repaired the install.   Then I played without going to Batuu for about 5 hours to make sure it worked.  No crashes.  Backed up that save.  Took the new-save character to Batuu (with a completely empty inventory).  Froze within 30 mins of entering new realm and I had to force quit it. Didn't generate a crash report though!

So I have good reason to believe it's the new content, but I don't see exactly what's causing it.
