Can you all save ok?
Try repairing the game in Origin
Disable Origin in-game
If it still happens start with a new clean Sims 4 folder by moving your current folder to the desktop and then launch the game. Once you get to the main menu immediately quit. Does it work properly?
@LexiO6 - can you please provide full Mac specs as the others have in this thread.
I’ve tried that as well, I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and those didn’t work either; repairing, deleting cache, rebooting the Mac into Safe Mode and uninstalling and reinstalling Origin and those didn’t work either.

It definitely is macOS Ventura that’s the problem. My iMac that’s updated to Ventura can only force quit, but one of my MacBook Pros that I didn’t update yet (still on Monterey) can exit fine, so I’m playing one of my save files there. Hopefully it gets fixed because my MacBook cannot handle all of my mods/cc lol.

Which model is the Mac running Monterey? This Force Quit issue is only apparent on Intel Macs judging by the specs everyone is posting here. I've seen reports of it also happening on Intel Macs running Monterey. Are your Macs Intel or Apple Silicon?- 3 years ago@Bluebellflora I have both an intel and a M1. As you mentioned only intel one has this issue after upgrading to Ventura. My M1 has no "force quit" issue after the ventura upgrade.
