Okay, so there has been a good while since I last played the sims 4. I have it installed on my Mac, and it has been installed there for many years and has worked really well. Now, if I try to play it is runs like normal, except when I try to close the game. When I am done playing and open the menu and click save and close game, the rainbow colored loading icon shows up and it stays like this without closing the game. I have tried letting it load as much as it “needs” but after getting back, for example after an hour, the loading icon is gone and all I see is the frozen screen. Then I have to force close the game. I do believe I have tried absolutely everything to fix this. I have tried uninstalling and installing the game again a few times. I have tried to repair the game. I have tried both deleting just the game program and all the maps. I have tried uninstalling origin and installing it again, but it’s no use. I know people have had similar problems before, but I am near convinced that my sims 4 is just completely broken forever. I have a good Mac, there should not be anything wrong with it on that department. As a final try I ask here? What is wrong with my game?

Merged into the master thread. This is a known issue on Intel Macs running Ventura. There isn’t a current fix. The only workaround is to Force Quit your game from the Apple menu.- 3 years ago
If anyone of you can please just invest into a gaming computer I am officially done with Apple Macs and I have turned mine in to invest into a gaming computer; I don’t see this issue getting fixed anytime soon and if it does then that’s fine it needs to be lol but if you can that’s what I would suggest otherwise you’re really in a messed up position and you just will have to force quit until otherwise smh
