Merged into the Ventura/Intel Mac thread for this known issue. The lag may be RAM/CPU related or simply large save files.

There is no lag saving even if your TS4 folder is stored in iCloud as it is also stored locally. The game cannot access saves only stored in the cloud because it cannot see the data, it only looks on the local Documents folder. I've tried all suggestions and still can't quit the game without forcequitting.
