Full screen mode still shows Sims 4 title and cannot be changed

All of a sudden my game is showing this white bar at the top with the game name on it. I've tried every setting, full screen mode, windowed mode, and it won't go away. It seems to be some secondary title bar because when I go to windowed mode it shows two title bars (see screenshots). During gameplay, it partially covers all of the menus at the top.

I'm on a brand new Mac mini with a LG display. Latest version of Tahoe 26.5.1. No other games do this when going into full screen mode. I also tried switching to other screen resolutions and it doesn't go away.

Google told me to clear the options file, or try editing the options file, and neither helped.

I deleted and reinstalled the game and the bar is still there.
