Update: None of my saves from the past week or two loads in this new game.
ISSUE 1:
Just to be clear, a brand new save in a clean folder loads no problem but your previous saves which you have played with Mods are not loading? Are any of your saves dependant on Mods to work?Could you start with a new Sims 4 folder again, copy one of your broken saves into the new saves folder, attempt to load the game then quit. Is there a LastException or lastCrash file in the Sims 4 folder? If so please copy/paste the contents into a post here. It may be that your Mods broke after the patch last week and in turn this has broken your saves if there was data dependant on the Mods to properly work.
ISSUE 2:
As for the zooming causing crashing, which specific model Mac do you have? Apple > About This Mac and please include the specific version of macOS. Does this happen in a brand new save in a brand new clean Sims 4 folder too? Does it happen on all Lots or only specific ones such as Residential or Community?
