Hi,
I have a 2017 MacBook Pro which usually runs Sims 4 perfectly. I own most packs - except businesses, no kits.
Since yesterday (first day I've played in a week or two), I've been unable to launch the game.
When I do, it opens a black window with a white box inside, but nothing happens, and the window is unresponsive.
I tried repairing the game, and then I removed mods and save files and repaired it again, but it still didn't work.
With the mods removed, I deleted and reinstalled the EA app, and then Sims 4 and it still didn't work.
My Mac is up to date.
Follow the instructions in the opening post and post back with the info asked for if you're still having issues..

I did... Screenshots are attached and the list of things I completed are in my opening post.
Anyway, the game has since started reopening, with no known reason for the resolution.
