Game freezes before main menu

Since the initial update when the Sims 4 Lovestruck expansion came out, my game does not work. When I had my mods/cc in my game files, it wouldn't open, but even with them removed, I never make it past the opening loading screen. I've deleted all my save files, repaired the game files, reinstalled the game, and nothing will work. I didn't even buy the DLC, so I have no idea what could've caused this issue, but it was perfectly fine before, so I don't think it's my computer.

Any help or tips would be really appreciated, I just want to play the game :/
