My game is continuously crashing and I haven't seen a fix up until this point. The game is unplayable at this point. Has there been a fix or is there an update on when this could possibly be fixed?

Hi, yes I’ve done every fix there is. I even thought to buy an upgraded Mac until I saw others with the same issues.

    • I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled
    • deleted the folder and ran a new game
    • Cleared my storage on my Mac
    • tried windowed screen
    • adjusted the graphic
    • repaired the game
    • updated the game
    • Cleared the cache
    • deleted all saves
    • No mods
    • updated the Mac to the most recent version of Sequoia
    • close the game after an hour of play and open again
    • I even downsized the households in game because I thought I had too much loading in
    • i have all other apps closed while running the game

  • kiki426 but I haven’t asked you to do any of those things. I’ve asked you to simply test a completely new clean Sims 4 folder which you haven’t done.

I understand that’s not what you asked, I was just letting you know other things I have tried. Also I answered your question in the second bullet. So again, yes, I have already done what you asked.

That includes following the instructions you included just so we’re clear

Do you mean this? I have no idea what folder you're referring to here as you haven't named it and you've deleted it and I would never recommend someone delete the Sims 4 folder that contains all their saves etc.

Which specific Mac do you have?

Exactly when is it crashing, at which point in the game loading/playing?
