Game lagging and freezing making game unplayable!

Question

I got sims 4 a week ago and it’s been constantly lagging and freezing, I’ve got no mods or CC I’ve never had them either I’ve tried everything to repairing my game, uninstalling and reinstalling and moved my sims 4 documents to the trash and other places and nothings working it’s made my game unplayable.

My game freezes and lags when I try to do anything like interact with other sims/ my own, moving my camera and even letters and numbers don’t show up.

what do I do?

Thanks. The lag is most probably because your Mac is struggling to render and power the game. Make sure you have all your in-game graphics settings on low and avoid heavily populated lots. Enabling laptop mode will definitely help.

You should also update your OS.
