Game unplayable after downloading Vampires DLC

You're running a version of macOS from 2013. Can you update to 10.12 Sierra? A later version of macOS will have upgraded video drivers so may help.

If you play in windowed mode do the graphics glitch on the whole display or just the game window?

If you drag the Options.ini file from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to your desktop then launch the game does it still happen?
