Game won't save - Error Code: 401:6922bd14:b1af7d85

Hello, I was hoping very much you'd be able to help me with my Sims 4 not saving. The error message I'm seeing is: The game failed to save. Error Code: 401:6922bd14:b1af7d85

I am on a MacBook Air 2020. I have the latest patch. I do use mods, but all have been updated since the December patch.

I had never seen this error, or one like it, before yesterday.

I was able to solve the problem initially by bulldozing a house I downloaded from the Gallery as it was the last thing I changed before the game started playing up. However, the error has now reappeared and I am tearing my hair out, and had to force close the game last night after getting an infinite loading screen.

Please advise as to how to fix this. Thank you.

    Copy your saves so you have a backup and then move the Mods folder out to the desktop, trash the localthumbcache.package file and try to save your game. Does it work?

    I have this problem. Sometimes it saves but after a while it just won’t anymore. This has only been happening on one save I just started but it’s so annoying and making me not be able to play the game

    PLEASE FIX THIS OR CAN SOMEONE AT LEAST TELL ME WHY IT’S HAPPENING

    The same happened to me. I tried saving in manage worlds and it did save it...you can try this until someone finds a better solution!
