Hello aidanspiker I would say, one thing that is worth doing is repairing the game first.
On EA app -> Library -> The Sims 4 -> Click on the 3 dots -> Repair.
After that, if you see no improvements, make a backup of the Sims 4 folder inside Documents and then delete the original.
This way, the game will reset and make a new one.
You can then restore the saves from the previous one manually.
This guide should help you backing up and resetting The Sims 4!

Hello, i tried repairing the game yesterday and nothing happened. I just tried deleting the folder and also nothing happened. Something that also could be worth note is when i open the game it starts in a smaller window and and then gets bigger which it didn’t do before the update. I did check that my resolution matches and it does. Should i try uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
Thank you!!

At this point, it's worth trying!
If you can, it would be great if you could share more about the graphics settings you are using.
You could also try enabling/disabling "uncompressed Sims textures" to see if you notice any difference.
"Edge smoothing" ON might also make things a bit better.
As for the smaller window, make sure you are not running the game with some launch options.
You can check in the game properties here:- aidanspiker4 months agoNew Novice
