How can I shrink objects on Mac Croatian keyboard?

Hi,
I need help, I tried everything that I could find but it doesn't help. How can I shrink objects in Sims 4 on MacBook Air Croatian keyboard? I turned on cheats and tried thing with [] and it does nothing.

Moved to the Mac tech forum. Go into System Settings > Keyboard and add a British or US keyboard layout. You can add a shortcut to it in the menu bar for quick switching when you load up the game. @cc78b5dc8404b670 Hello! You shouldn't need to turn on cheats for this. It should work with or without cheats turned on. Those are the correct keys to use for shrinking and enlarging objects though. You do have to be holding the object (it should have that green box around it) then press the [ to shrink and the ] to enlarge. Just to clarify, is that what you did and it didn't work for you?

Look at an American keyboard layout (google) notice where the [] keys are placed. You need to use the keys that correspond to that location on your Croatian Keyboard.

Yes, I did all that. But if I want to move objects up or down, that works. So I really don't understand.

I looked at it now and I've hold correct letters on keyboard.

@cc78b5dc8404b670 Hmm ... to clarify, you mean you can move objects up and down using the 9 and 0 keys, correct? Out of curiosity, I loaded the Croatian keyboard on my PC to check the layout. Are these the keys that you are using to resize objects; š and đ?
If that's still not working, perhaps you could try using the English keyboard? I'm not sure why those keys wouldn't work for you. 😕

You need to add the keyboard as suggested in my post above. The link from Apple will help you. Your issue is often reported by people with non-English keyboards and adding the second keyboard layout fixes it.

I didn't reply right away bc I was trying it out. I just switched keyboard and it works!! Thank you sooo much, I was losing my mind already!! 🥳
