How do I turn off the screen capture feature in Sims4 on a Mac?

I've done the thing with my keyboard turning off screenshot shortcut. But it keeps screen shooting during the game making me unable to use cheats. I've tried cmd + shift + c which didn't work. I've also tried cntrl + shift + c and that also didn't work. I've also tried fn + cntrl + shift + c but that also didn't work. All the key combinations I've tried all take a screenshot. Im really confused on what I've done wrong. pls help

  • So I was doing that.  My issue was solved with an update with the game, thanks for your help anyways!

  • Alix1217CTL+Shift+C should work, as long as you're hitting them all together. Just C on its own is the screenshot shortcut, so if you are accidentally letting go of one of the other keys too early, that's when you'd get a screenshot.

If your Modifier Keys have been changed in System Settings this is often the cause of the problem you're having. The game is recognising the C key but no combination of keys in conjunction with C, such as CTRL and Shift to bring up the cheat console, so it's doing what it's being told to do and taking a screenshot in-game.

Go into System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Modifier Keys and check that the function of the keys match their name.
