I can't close my sims 4 game

My sims game was messed up and the ui was all mixed around and not working. I decided to ignore it and open cas and see what the new update was like only for my screen to turn completely black aside from the right top corner, when i press the menu to try to leave it doesn't show up and i can't interact with anything. Not even force quitting will work.
