Is there a folder called Sims 4 in your Electronic Arts folder? Or the game app? Can you post a screenshot?

here
Thanks. Can you do a Spotlight search for The Sims 4? Once you see the App hold down the CMD key and it will show you the file path. It should be the top hit.

okay, i see it. i just dragged it into applications. the file path said it was in applications, but i guess it just want showing up. didnt fix my game, but ti think thats because the computet itself is broken or something. Thanks for the help!
Well, let's see if we can fix it 🙂
Can you right click on the game in your Origin game library and select repair game?
If that doesn't work please run the Origin reset tool then try again.

Version 10.13.2
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
Ok. Can you uninstall the game, reset Origin then launch Origin and download and install the game again? Have you checked where games are being installed to in Origin > Preferences > Installs & Saves?
Why do you think your Mac is broken?

Im uninstalling and reinstalling now. the photo is my installs and saves
i might have worded that funny. It's it that i think my mac is broken. I just think that the problem is with the mac itself and not origin or the game, but i still have a little hope of fixing it. i had someone try to fix it last december and it didnt work, but im willing to do anything at this point
That looks fine 🙂 Please can you provide more information about your Mac, that may help too. Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Hopefully the complete uninstall and reinstall will work.
