That is my Mac info.
I tried to put it on all of the information you asked for. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks so much @puzzlezaddict !!
@BIGGABANKZ Since your error is a bit different than the others, and you're on a Mac, I've split your posts into their own thread in the Mac section. Your graphics card is in fact in the game's database.
Additionally, you shouldn't be able to even open the Legacy Edition of Sims 4 when running Catalina. Please double-check the patch level of the game. Load it to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look for the version number along the bottom of the screen. Please list the full number, i.e. 1.xx.xx.xxxx.
@puzzlezaddict I restarted my laptop and now it seems to work, just wondering if this issue will happen in the future.
I will rather still have the information here even though it's working now.
Mac: 1.64.84.1220
That's the number.
@BIGGABANKZ Okay, so you are in fact running the standard version of Sims 4, not the Legacy Edition, which is what's expected for anyone in macOS Catalina. This could easily be a one-off situation, and anyway, one of the first steps in troubleshooting is to restart your computer.
I have no idea whether this will happen again. But if it does, please post back in this thread, and someone will try to help.
Thank you, I will!
