Infinite loading Screen

Since yesterday, I can start the game and access the main menu. However, as soon as I select a household to play, I only see the loading screen.

There's no message indicating anything is wrong or any error message. I've already removed the mods, cleared the cach history, repaired the game, etc. 

I restarted the app, installed all updates, logged in again, and even created a completely new world just to rule everything out. I also updated my Mac to the latest operating system and even turned off the internet to see if that would make a difference.

But as soon as the household loads for more than an hour (if it loads at all), the endless loading screen reappears when leaving the property and stays there for hours.

Does anyone have any other ideas for what I can test, or any tips on where I can look to find out what the problem is?

I'm really starting to run out of ideas.
