@EA_Mai Thanks for the reply - unfortunately that machine doesn't have any sort of time machine backup.
I did try to uninstall, reboot but there was a required update. I then tried offline mode and it began to start but then produced an error saying the local files were written by a newer version of Sims so it couldn't be started.
Does this mean I have to wait for the legacy edition?

@adamcollingbur Can you update to a supported version of macOS? What model Mac do you have?
- 6 years ago@fahlman Unfortunately, Apple only supports Lion on my mac so I can't upgrade and even if I could my graphics cards would then not handle it due to the updated specs for the latest patch
- 6 years ago@adamcollingbur Are you sure? If so, your Mac must be 10 - 12 years old. What model do you have?
