Lamas as lot icons and pink and purple lot/Sim??

Hi all,

Recently my game started to slowly degrade. It started when my lot icons all changed to lamas and in some lot icons disappeared all together. I thought it might be a corrupt lot downloaded from the gallery but I can’t pin point it to that since I erased everything and restarted and I’m still seeing the lamas. After a while the houses I was able to play turned purple and red with question marks over everything including the sim. 

I’ve tried..

• Repairing the game (several times)
• Clearing my EA cache
• Reinstalling the EA app
• Removing mods
• Clearing game cache
• Deleting the The Sims 4 folder and having the game regenerate all new files
  
  I really thought the latter would be the solve but even with a fresh start it’s still happening. My next course would be to uninstall the game and reinstall everything
  
  

Has the happened to anyone?? What was the solve?? I’ve added images of the neighbourhoods and you can see the lamas.
