LLAMA BUG NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!

every single time i open up my sims game everything expansion/stuff/game pack related has either question marks all over it or a b&w llama image on it. for clothing items and build items, there are question marks. For images, buildings in the world view, etc. there are Llamas!!

To people who say its my mods, it is not. I took my mods folder completely out of my folder, I tried repairing the game, I reset origin, I completely re-installed the game and its the same issues!

At first there were issues in CAS and i couldn't see or interact with any Expansion pack worlds. if i did click it would have me stuck on a blank screen. Now that i've done everything in my power, The CAS is working fine & the expansion worlds are visible but every lot is covered with the Llama and has no wording on it. ( I haven't touched my mods folder at all ).

I use a iMac (retina 5k, Late 2014)

i am on macOS Catalina Version 10.15.5

I don't know exactly what version of sims i am on but i'm on the most recent update of both sims & origin.

I also took out all my saves but nothing is working.

Please fix this bug for mac because at this point, this is making me not want to spend money on these games.

You guys need focus on making sure everyone has a good experience on Mac just as much as Windows.

This isn't just a Mac issue, it affects Mac and Windows users. Try forcing a re-download of the affected packs. From your screenshots this looks like EP02, Get Together and EP04, Cats & Dogs:

    - Open the Sims 4 Packs folder. It will be in the same location as your Sims 4 app.
    - Trash the ClientFullBuild0.package files in the EP02 and EP04 folders.
    - You should now have the option to download them again in Origin
    - After having downloaded them again please move your entire Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop then launch the game. It should be like new as your saves will be in the Sims 4 folder you moved. Create a Sim and go to Windenburg and Brindleton Bay. Are the llamas still there?

The issue you have is missing:corrupted thumbnails, often caused by out of date Mods. Trash the whole EP folder for each pack. This is effectively uninstalling them completely, and then re-download in Origin.

I managed to repro your issue by removing the thumbnails.package file from the pack folder but unfortunately it isn’t recreated or repaired which is why removing the whole folder is necessary.
