Lost Saved Files

Hi!

I recently bought upgraded to a new Macbook Pro 2020 from a Macbook Pro 2013.

I embarked looking to transfer my saved files from my old mac to my new but I could not find my saved files ANYWHERE.

1. I searched 'slot' in the entire mac to look for any kind of saved Sims file. Nothing.

2. I tried creating a new random sim, closing the game and reopening to see if my old saved household/game shows up. Only the new random sim turned up.

3. There is nothing to restore in my iCloud Drive, in case it was uploaded and deleted there for some reason.

Someone please help ): I am so crashed. I want to quit Sims 4 all together at this point... T_T

    I've went into both folders and they're empty.

    The saves folder in the Library folder location is empty? What is the date modified date and time of that saves folder?

    @Bluebellflora The iCloud one is empty and the date is 28 June 2020.

    The folder on my mac is today and has a saved file from 28 June 2020 because I was troubleshooting and someone suggested to create a new sim, save, etc, but that method didn't help.

    Slot_00000002.save.ver0 is the 28 June 2020 file. the new sim file that was being tested. ☹️

    Ok. Looks like they have gone. I can assure you the game does not remove saves, it will have been, most likely, iCloud Drive settings. Maybe some files were overwritten and trashed when iCloud Drive was enabled/disabled/merged.

    @Bluebellflora Sadly I don’t ): I don’t have very important things on my laptop that requires much backups. Lesson learnt. Hard. :/
